Colorado Springs, CO — September 10, 2024, one person was injured following a truck accident just before 7:15 a.m. along Platte Avenue.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Platte Avenue in the vicinity of the Powers Boulevard overpass.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between an 18-wheeler, a pickup truck, and possibly one other vehicle. One victim was reportedly entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extracted by emergency personnel. An injured victim was taken to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive treatment for injuries of as yet unknown severity.
