Clifton, NJ — July 22, 2024, a man was killed following a truck accident sometime before 12:00 noon along State Highway 3.
According to authorities, a 55-year-old man was traveling in an eastbound 18-wheeler reportedly carrying a load of chemical barrels on S.H. 3 when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Preliminary reports state that, for as yet unknown reasons, the truck was rear-ended by a bus, causing the truck to lose control and crash into a roadside sound barrier.
