Clark County, OH — January 23, 2024, a woman was injured in a truck accident that took place sometime in the morning along Interstate 70.
According to authorities, a woman was traveling in an eastbound 18-wheeler towing a trailer on Interstate 70 in the vicinity of the I-675 interchange when the accident occurred.
The causal factors of the incident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the cab of the 18-wheeler began filling with smoke, prompting the driver to pull over to the shoulder and exit the vehicle at the soonest possible juncture. The cab of the truck reportedly became engulfed in flames. The woman was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment for the smoke inhalation she endured.
