Brazos County, TX — March 8, 2024, one person was injured in a truck accident at approximately 6:30 a.m. along State Highway 21.
According to authorities, the accident occurred on S.H. 21 near the town of Kurten.
Officials indicate that an 18-wheeler with a trailer in tow entered the highway from a private drive at an unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to highway traffic. As a result, a collision occurred between a pickup truck and the trailer of the 18-wheeler.
The driver of the pickup truck incurred reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck. They were transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
