Austin, TX — February 5, 2024, one person was killed as a result of a truck accident at approximately 6:45 a.m. along State Highway 45.
According to authorities, a pickup truck was traveling in the westbound lanes of State Highway 45 in the vicinity of the U.S. Highway 183 toll road when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the pickup truck rear-ended the trailer of an 18-wheeler that was also westbound on the highway, at the time. The driver of the pickup truck incurred reportedly fatal injuries due to the collision and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
