Amherst, NY — June 15, 2024, one person was injured following a truck accident at approximately 1:45 p.m. along Sheridan Drive.
According to authorities, a 42-year-old man was traveling in an SUV on Sheridan Drive in the vicinity of the North Forest Road intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the SUV crashed into the rear-end of an 18-wheeler. The sole occupant of the SUV was reportedly entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extracted by emergency personnel.
