Alvarado, TX — November 10, 2023, one person was killed in a truck accident just before six o’clock in the evening along U.S. Highway 67.
According to reports, a 55-year-old woman was in a Kia Forte attempting to make a left turn from the westbound lanes of U.S. 67 onto southbound Baugh Street when the accident took place.
For unknown reasons, the Forte attempted the turn at an unsafe time and crossed into the eastbound lanes without yielding to oncoming traffic. This resulted in a collision with a Ford F-450 which had a trailer in tow. The 55-year-old-woman—the sole occupant of the Kia—was killed as a result of the wreck. No other injuries were reported.
This incident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. No additional information is currently available pertaining to this accident.
