Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
People often write off pedestrian accidents and assume everything comes down to whether or not the pedestrian was in a crosswalk. In reality, there can be complex extenuating circumstances to consider. If investigators aren’t careful to consider factors even if they seem unlikely, they risk letting something important slip through the cracks. At the very least, a victim’s loved ones deserve to know they’re getting the whole story. Have steps been taken to see that happens here?
