Batavia Township, OH — February 20, 2024, Travis Light was killed following a semi-truck accident at around 8:00 a.m. along State Route 9.
According to preliminary details about the accident, it happened on eastbound lanes of the highway in the area of the Bauer Road intersection, east of Batavia.
Investigators said following initial investigations that 32-year-old Travis Light was in a vehicle stopped at the traffic signal for the SR 32 and Bauer Road intersection. While waiting, it appears a semi-truck didn’t slow down, crashing into Light’s vehicle. This forced Light’s vehicle off the side of the road.
Due to the collision, Light sustained injuries which ultimately proved fatal. No other injuries were reported. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
