Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
A crash of this severity is not likely to be anywhere near simple or straight-forward. It takes a lot of experience and state-of-the-art tools to navigate deadly commercial truck wrecks. If authorities have been able to take on that challenge on their own, that would be good to hear.
However, that’s not always something within their ability. A lot of families find themselves still asking the same questions weeks after a crash without any clear answers. If that happens, it’s reasonable to bring in outside help from professionals who can pick up the slack and investigate the crash more thoroughly. Whether or not that will be necessary here remains to be seen.
