How Did This Accident Occur?
One of these vehicles seemingly left its lane to cause a head-on crash, but which one? And why? Those are questions that investigators must sort out as they reconstruct this accident.
Witness statements, physical evidence and data from both vehicles should help. Cell phone records could show what each driver was doing at the time fo the crash.
If an in-depth inspection of the vehicles is needed to rule out any suspected mechanical problems, that will likely have to be done by an outside expert. Most law enforcement agencies do not the time or training for such examinations, in my experience.
These steps should yield answers to any unanswers questions the Fusion driver’s family has about this accident.
