Travis County, TX — April 17, 2024, Tobie Rene Galban was injured in a car accident just after 7:30 a.m. along San Marcos Street.
According to authorities, 47-year-old Tobie Galban was at a stop due to traffic in a northbound Dodge Durango on San Marcos Street just south of the Parsons Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Dodge Ram Van failed to stop for the traffic conditions, colliding with the rear-end of he Durango as a result. This collision caused the Dodge to be pushed forward into the back-end of a Toyota Tundra pickup truck that had also been stopped due to traffic.
Galban suffered reportedly severe injuries due to the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
