July 16, 2026, Timothy Smith was injured following an alleged drunk driver accident that took place around 9:52 p.m. along Crowley Road.
Investigators said that the crash happened at the intersection of Crowley Road and Sycamore School Road/Everman Parkway.
Authorities said that 54-year-old Timothy Smith was riding a motorcycle northbound on Crowley Road. A Chevy Bolt was going southbound when it reportedly crashed with the motorcycle.
Timothy Smith reportedly was seriously injured due to the crash. The Chevy driver allegedly was twice the limit for drunk driving. Authorities recommended charges including intoxication assault.
How Did This Accident Occur?
If the allegations here are true, then it seems most likely that the apparent drunk driving is what led to this crash. Maybe there were other factors these initial reports failed to mention, but alcohol is obviously a prime suspect. What’s more, though, is that alcohol-related crashes can involve more than one person making a mistake. For instance, if the alleged drunk driver was unlawfully over-served by a bar or restaurant, then that establishment may also have consequences to face, potentially including criminal charges, license suspension, responsibility for their role in the victim’s injuries, and fines.
