Santa Barbara County, CA — January 5, 2024, Thomas McGregor was killed in a truck accident shortly after 2:45 in the morning along Hwy. 101.
According to authorities, 25-year-old Thomas McGregor was traveling in a southbound pickup truck along Highway 101 in the vicinity to the west of Dos Pueblos Canyon Road when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the pickup was involved in a collision with an 18-wheeler which caused the pickup to overturn and catch fire in the grassy median of the highway. McGregor incurred fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
