Killeen, TX — July 6, 2024, one man was killed following a single-vehicle car accident at approximately 4:00 a.m. along the East Central Texas Expressway.
According to authorities, a 31-year-old man was traveling in a Pontiac on E. Central Texas Expressway in the vicinity of Rosewood Drive when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Pontiac left its lane of travel. It then reportedly veered off of the road where it overturned, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a stop. The man suffered fatal injuries, reports state, and was declared deceased at the scene.
