Dallas, TX — February 26, 2024, Thomas Lauer was injured in a car accident at approximately 4:45 a.m. along U.S. Highway 175, Hawn Freeway.
According to authorities, 66-year-old Thomas Lauer was traveling in an eastbound Ford Crown Victoria in the inside middle lane of U.S. 175 in the vicinity west of Woody Road when the accident took place.

A Nissan Sentra was traveling in the far-left eastbound lane next to the Ford. While no collision between the two vehicles took place, officials indicate that the Nissan allegedly drove close to the Ford, causing the Ford to lose control. It reportedly swerved hard left, its front end colliding with the concrete wall on the north side of the roadway as a result.
Lauer reportedly incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
