Cedar County, IA — August 3, 2026, Terrence Tylee was killed in a truck accident at about 11 a.m. on State Highway 38 south of Tipton.

Authorities said a 2016 Dodge Dart crashed into a 2015 Freightliner semi-truck that was backing across the road into a private driveway.

Dodge driver Terrence W. Tylee, 74, of Coralville died after flown to an Iowa City hospital, according to authorities.

The truck driver was not injured, authorities said.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Cedar County crash at this time.
