San Augustine County, TX — October 1, 2025, Terrell Hargrove was injured as the result of a car accident which occurred around 10:35 p.m. on FM 1279.
According to officials, the accident took place north of San Augustine off the corner of FM 1279 and FM 3230.
Investigators said that 59-year-old Terrell Hargrove was on a Honda motorbike going eastbound. The vehicle reportedly left its lane, and it crashed along the roadway. Terrell Hargrove reportedly was seriously injured as a result.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Additional details are unavailable.

One of my main concerns with accidents like this is if they ever got the attention they really needed. Unfortunately, a lot of people are biased against motorbikes, and they might jump to conclusions rather than consider all of the possible reasons the accident may have occurred. I’ve even had cases where authorities made the wrong conclusions, and it took more thorough independent investigations to correct the records. Hopefully authorities were more careful here to let the evidence speak for itself, but that’s not something I’d ever take for granted.
