Grayson County, TX — January 17, 2026, three teenagers were injured following a car accident at around 10:44 p.m. along Farm-to-Market 922.
Details from authorities say that the accident happened just west of Tioga near the Lake Ray Roberts bridge.
Authorities said that three teenagers (a 19-year-old and two 18-year-olds) were in a BMW going along FM 922. While doing so, the vehicle reportedly lost control and crashed. All three occupants sustained serious injuries, authorities reported.

My concern with any crash involving young drivers is people often jump to conclusions rather than letting the evidence speak for itself. My hope, then, is that authorities made sure to treat this like any serious accident rather than letting any sort of bias get in the way. The fact they sometimes don’t is what leads a lot of families to feel more comfortable with independent investigators looking things over.
