Angelina County, TX — April 25, 2025, three teenagers were injured due to a car accident which happened around 9:45 p.m. on FM 1475.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened just off U.S. Highway 69 outside of Huntington.
It appears that two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old were in a Chevy Silverado traveling southbound. The vehicle apparently left its lane, and it ultimately overturned. Due to the accident, all three teenagers were seriously injured.
While details are not entirely confirmed right now, authorities allege that alcohol was a possible factor in the accident. No further information is available.

Obviously, there needs to be more evidence to confirm anything from these initial statements. That said, bringing up alcohol with a crash involving minors certainly raises red flags. Not least among them: Where would the alcohol have come from? Texas has strict laws about providing alcohol to minors. Not only could the provider face potential criminal charges, but they may also bear responsibility for contributing to the accident. If nothing else, this possibility only reinforces just how important it is crashes like this are taken seriously to ensure the victims’ families know what next steps are possibly available to them.
