One thing to consider is that people see single-vehicle truck accidents and tend to assume the driver must have done something wrong. Obviously, that’s a possibility worth considering. But commercial vehicles can involve all kinds of complex factors. Mechanical defects, faulty brakes or steering mechanisms, cargo shifts, drivers forced to work long hours or operate vehicles their employers don’t maintain properly, etc. That’s why it’s important investigators are being thorough enough to ensure nothing important here is slipping through the cracks.
