Fort Worth, TX — April 21, 2024, a teenager was killed and one was injured in a motorcycle accident around 6:00 p.m. along Meadowbrook Boulevard.

According to initial details about the accident, it happened off the intersection of Meadowbrook Boulevard and Stark Street.

Investigators said that two 15-year-olds were on a Honda motorcycle going westbound along Meadowbrook. Up ahead, a vehicle reportedly turned left out of a private drive, and the vehicles collided.

Due to the collision, the teen operating the motorcycle was killed. The passenger was injured. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

I can’t help but wonder what kind of attention this crash got from authorities. I’ve seen a lot of cases involving young drivers and motorcyclists alike. both tend to get a bad rap, and authorities might have moved on or jumped to conclusions too quickly based on their own biases about these kinds of accidents. It’s possible the families involved felt they got all the answers they needed. But if a crash like this needed to be handled by independent investigators, it wouldn’t be too unusual.
