Houston, TX — April 24, 2024, a teenage girl sustained injuries due to a hit-and-run accident at around 4:42 p.m. along Willowbend Boulevard.
Authorities said that the accident happened in the area of the Willowbend Boulevard and Manhattan Drive intersection.
According to officials, a 13-year-old girl was on a bicycle going along Willowbend. An eastbound Chevy Camaro struck the girl, then allegedly fled the scene. As a result of the collision, the girl was injured.
Harris County officials say they identified and charged the suspect hit-and-run driver. No further information is available right now.

It’s important to know why a driver fled, as it can be due to things like warrants or drunk driving that call for further action. Is that something auhtorities ever looked into here, or did they move on too quickly?
