Plano, TX — December 1, 2025, a man sustained injuries following a car accident which happened around 10:36 p.m. along Preston Road.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash happened just south of the Preston Road and Parker Road intersection.
According to officials, a 19-year-old was in a Ford Ranger going northbound along Preston Road. In events unclear, the vehicle lost control and crashed. The driver of the Ford had serious injuries due to the accident.
No other injuries were reported. Additional details are unavailable.

A lot of people will see a crash involving a teenage driver and immediately assume the worst. It is true that teenagers are statistically more likely to make mistakes behind the wheel. For an individual accident, though, it’s up to the evidence to say what happened.
It would surprise folks how often authorities just went with their gut instead of digging into the actual facts surrounding an accident. Hopefully officials here have been more thorough than that, but a lot of families still end up feeling more comfortable having independent investigators look things over to ensure nothing important slips through the cracks.
