Montgomery County, TX — February 24, 2024, a teenager was injured as the result of a car accident at 4:30 p.m. along Bybee Drive.
According to officials, the crash took place in the area of the Bybee Drive and East Dallas Street intersection.
It appears that a 16-year-old boy was in a Chevy Silverado going northbound along Dallas Street. At the Bybee Drive fork, the vehicle apparently went left toward Bybee, then left the roadway. There, the vehicle crashed into a tree.
The driver of the Silverado reportedly sustained serious injuries due to the crash. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Right now, the cause of the accident remains unconfirmed.

My hope is authorities were thorough rather than jumping to conclusions. It’s not that I distrust anything about this specific incident, but people tend to unfairly blame teenagers without actually having all the facts. In my experience, that’s just asking to overlook something important, and a family already going through such a tough time shouldn’t also have to worry if they’re getting the answers they deserve.
