Arlington, TX — November 8, 2023, a teenager was injured following a car accident that happened around 2:26 p.m. along Oldfield Drive.
Preliminary information released about the accident say that it occurred near the intersection of Oldfield Drive and West Pleasant Ridge Road, just off Green Oaks.
According to authorities, a 17-year-old boy was in a Honda Civic reportedly going northbound along Oldfield. Approaching Pleasant Ridge Road, the vehicle somehow crashed into the back end of a pickup which authorities say was legally parked along the side of the road.
Due to this collision, the 17-year-old Honda driver had apparently serious injuries. There were no other injured parties mentioned in statements. While the cause of the accident can’t be confirmed, authorities mentioned the possibility of a steering mechanism failure.
