How Did This Accident Occur?

Initial reports don’t tell us much about this crash, but I still have a lot of questions about what happened on the road near this Southern California Edison facility.

Did the utility truck driver have enough time to complete the turn? Was the utility pole lit or marked in any way to make it visible to other drivers? Is it normal for the utility company to be moving equipment like this after sundown? These questions should be addressed by investigators if we ever hope to have a complete picture of how this crash happened for the victim’s family.
