Caldwell County, MO — February 26, 2024, Taylor Owens was injured in a dump truck accident that took place along U.S. Highway 36.
According to authorities Taylor Owens was traveling in an eastbound Nissan Sentra on U.S. Highway 36 in the vicinity of the Route B intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a southbound dump truck on Route B failed to yield the right of way to highway traffic, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front left of the Nissan and the front right of the dump truck.
Owens incurred suspected moderate injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
