Harris County, TX — October 20, 2024, Taylor Mitschke was injured following single-car accident at approximately 11:15 p.m. along the Gulf Freeway.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Taylor Mitschke was traveling in a southbound Cadillac on Interstate Highway 45, the Gulf Freeway, in the vicinity north of Almeda Genoa Road when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between the front-end of the Cadillac and the concrete base of a light pole in the left-hand shoulder of the freeway.
Mitschke sustained reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
