Denton County, TX — April 22, 2024, Taylor Bell was killed and two others were injured in a car accident shortly before 6:00 p.m. along U.S. Highway 377.

According to authorities, 27-year-old Taylor Bell was traveling in a northbound Cadillac on U.S. 377 in the vicinity of the Ike Byrom intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Volvo occupied by a 29-year-old woman and a 1-year-old girl failed to safely maintain its lane of travel on the highway. It reportedly veered left of center, crossing over the center turn lane and into the northbound lane of the highway. There, it was involved in a collision with the Cadillac. The Volvo overturned over the course of the accident, according to reports, coming to a stop in a culvert on the east side of the road. The Cadillac also came to a stop on the east side of the roadway.

Bell suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. The woman from the Volvo was severely injured, while the child who was in the Volvo with her sustained moderate injuries. They were both transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
