Davie FL, — October 26, 2023, a man was injured in a tanker truck accident in the early afternoon along Interstate 595.
According to reports, the tanker truck was traveling westbound on I-595 just west of the Highway 817 junction when the incident occurred.
Authorities state that the tanker—which had been hauling cooking oil—allegedly suffered tire failure of some sort, which led to the tanker crashing and catching fire. The driver of the tanker truck was taken to a local medical facility for treatment of his injuries in their burn unit. There were no other injuries reported in connection with this incident.
