While the cause of the crash remains unclear, some reports speculate that the truck involved here was traveling on a roadway that it was “too heavy to operate on.” If that’s true, why was it there? Was there some kind issue with signage that failed to warn the driver? Was this a truck driver trying to take a shortcut to meet a tight deadline? Was this an inexperienced truck driver? Did an employer fail to provide their driver with the proper route?

People often think serious truck wrecks are just down to a reckless driver making a mistake, but there could be a complex series of events that ultimately led to this crash. If authorities aren’t able to retrace the steps that led to the accident, they may actually end up letting a wrongdoer off the hook.
