Dallas, TX — November 10, 2024, Tabitha Barron and Jennifer Carbajal were killed in a car accident just before 3:15 p.m. along RL Thornton Freeway.
According to reports, Tabitha Barron and Jennifer Carbajal—both age 24—were traveling in a northbound Ford Crown Victoria along Marvin D Love Freeway approaching the Thornton Freeway when the accident occurred.

Officials indicate that the Ford was allegedly traveling at extreme rates of speed leading up to the accident. The vehicle reportedly began to skid sideways as it approached the merge with the northbound lanes of I.H. 35E, R L Thornton Freeway. It crossed over all the lanes of the freeway and collided with a concrete barrier on the east side of the roadway. At some point during the crash, the front door of the vehicle opened and both Barron and Carbajal were ejected.
Carbajal incurred reportedly fatal injuries during the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. Barron sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment. However, she was ultimately unable to overcome her injuries and was later pronounced dead.
