Irondequoit, NY — June 7, 2024, three people were injured following an SUV versus commercial van accident sometime before 12:45 p.m. along Empire Boulevard.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Empire Boulevard in the vicinity of the Wilbur Tract Road intersection, between Plank Road and North Winton Road.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Preliminary reports state that, for as yet unknown reasons, an SUV and a commercial carpet cleaning van were involved in a collision. There was only one person occupying the SUV, and two people were in the van. Two of the three injured victims apparently had severe injuries. All three were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
