Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

A lot of people jump to conclusions after single-vehicle wrecks because there was just one person involved in the crash. But that doesn’t automatically mean that person did something wrong. Anything from a tire blowout to a medical emergency to a vehicle defect to road hazards can unexpectedly cause vehicles to lose control. It’s important investigations are thorough enough to consider all of these possibilities, likely or not, to ensure the victim’s side of the story is told fairly.
