An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of September 20th. According to official reports, Sue Lockhart was travelling west in a Chevy Pickup on State Park Rd. at the S. Main Street intersection, when a Dodge van coming from the north failed to yield the right-of-way and struck Lockhart.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Lockhart had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital.
