Lampasas County, TX — May 9, 2025, Solana Anderson and one other were injured following a car accident around 1:35 a.m. along County Road 2968.

According to officials, the crash happened on Harmon Road near FM 1690, east of Adamsville.

Investigators said that 19-year-old Solana Kaylee Anderson and another 19-year-old woman were in a Chevy Traverse going eastbound along the roadway. At a curve in the road, the vehicle went off-road, and it crashed into a tree.

Due to the accident, both Solana Anderson and the passenger in the car were seriously injured. There were no other reported details about the crash.

Sometimes when people see teens behind the wheel, and a crash happens, they automatically assume the less-experienced driver did something wrong. That’s obviously possible, but investigations should be unbiased and should let the evidence speak for itself. Sometimes, authorities do that. Other times, officers jump to conclusions just as much as the general public. That’s when important details can slip through the cracks. So, did this crash get the attention it deserved, or was it brushed aside without a fair chance?
