Laredo, TX — September 29, 2025, one person was injured as the result of a single-vehicle accident at around 2:18 a.m. along Del Mar Boulevard.
According to initial details about the accident, it took place at Broadcrest Drive, just east of I-35.
Investigators said that a 24-year-old man was in a Dodge Ram pickup going westbound along Del Mar. That vehicle apparently left its lane, and it crashed. The driver was seriously injured as a result.
Right now, there does not appear to have been anyone else involved in the accident. Additional details are unavailable.

One of the most common calls I’ve received over decades is people involved in single-vehicle wrecks worried their side of the story won’t be told fairly. That’s a perfectly valid concern. The reality is authorities sometimes treat these situations as a low priority, and that can lead to rushed conclusions or missing information.
To be clear, authorities are capable of doing fair, thorough investigations. If it seems they’re able to address all concerns and answer questions clearly, it’s likely a sign they did good investigations. But I always tell folks that if something feels off and details aren’t adding up, it might be wise to consider having another pair of eyes look things over to make sure the whole story is being told.
