Williamson County, TX — January 19, 2024, one person was injured in a single-car accident at approximately 10:00 p.m. along C.R. 366.

According to reports, a 43-year-old man was traveling in a southbound 2018 Ford F-150 on County Road 366 approaching the Chandler Road intersection when the accident occurred.

The pickup truck allegedly swerved in order to avoid colliding with a deer which was in the roadway. The evasive maneuver caused the truck to drive straight through the T-shaped intersection and off of the roadway where it struck a ditch. It is unknown at this point whether or not the airbags of the pickup truck deployed during the wreck, officials state.

The man—who had been the sole occupant of the pickup truck—incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash; he was taken to a local medical facility in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
