Temple, TX — July 21, 2024, one person was injured following a single-car accident shortly after 5:45 p.m. along West Adams Avenue.
According to authorities, the accident took place on West Adams Avenue between the Apache Drive and Village Way intersections.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a vehicle was traveling at allegedly high speeds in the moments leading up to the wreck. It reportedly crashed into a pole before leaving the roadway completely and colliding with an apartment building.
One person from the vehicle was severely hurt, according to reports. They were taken to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment for the apparently life-threatening injuries incurred due to the wreck. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this point in time.
