San Antonio, TX — May 5, 2024, one person was killed following a single-car accident at approximately 10:40 p.m. along South Zarzamora Street.
According to authorities, a man was traveling in a northbound vehicle along South Zarzamora Street in the vicinity of Loop 410 when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that the car may have been traveling at high rates of speed leading up to the wreck. It reportedly failed to maintain its lane of travel, veered off of the roadway, and struck a utility pole before crashing into a tree and coming to a stop. The victim suffered fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. No other injuries have been reported.
