Montgomery County, TX — July 30, 2024, three people were injured following a car accident at some point overnight along State Highway 249.
According to reports, authorities attempted a traffic stop for a Chevrolet Tahoe occupied by three people, but the vehicle refused; a police pursuit followed.
As the Tahoe was traveling along the feeder road, it crossed over the median and back onto the highway. There, it crossed over all the active southbound lanes before crashing into the center concrete divider and overturning. One person was ejected and another was partially ejected. Those two suffered reportedly severe injuries and had to be transported to local medical facilities in order to receive immediate treatment. The third person from the Tahoe sustained minor injuries, as well, according to reports. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
