Houston, TX — January 27, 2024, one person was killed in a single-car accident at approximately 2:45 a.m. along U.S. Highway 59.
According to authorities, one person was traveling in a westbound pickup truck along Interstate 610 and took the exit to merge onto northbound U.S. 59 when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the crash are unclear. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the pickup truck veered off of the side of the ramp, catching fire when it hit the ground below.
