Sometimes, single-vehicle accidents are brushed off as open-and-shut. People think that because there’s just one driver involved, they’re the only one to focus on. But what about road hazards? Tire blowouts? Lighting or signage issues? Potential vehicle defects? There are a lot of outside factors that can cause a driver to lose control without warning. These possibilities generally take careful and extensive investigations to rule, so if authorities didn’t do that here, there could still be more to the story.
