Gillespie County, TX — January 19, 2024, four people were injured in a single car accident just after 9:00 p.m. along Old San Antonio Road.
According to reports, a 24-year-old woman was traveling in a northbound Pontiac Grand Prix with a 2-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy, and a 4-year-old boy on Old San Antonio Road a little more than three-quarters of a mile north of Luckenbach Cain City Road when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Pontiac failed to safely navigate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle reportedly veered left, crossing over to the opposite side of the road where it collided with the end of a concrete bridge railing.
The 6-year-old boy incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident, while each of the other occupants of the vehicle sustained reportedly moderate injuries. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
