Dallas, TX — January 20, 2024, one person was injured in a single-vehicle accident at approximately 8:00 a.m. along Stemmons Freeway.
According to reports, a 27-year-old man was traveling in an eastbound Chevy Sonic along Stemmons Freeway in the vicinity west of Reeder Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unconfirmed reasons, the vehicle failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It allegedly veered left, crossing over the oncoming lane of traffic before leaving the roadway completely. It then reportedly collided with a concrete support beam.
The man—the sole occupant of the vehicle—incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was taken to a local medical facility in order to receive necessary treatment.
