Potter County, TX — September 21, 2024, one person was injured in a single-car accident at approximately 3:30 a.m. along Southeast 10th Avenue.
According to authorities, an 18-year-old man was traveling in an eastbound Chevrolet Malibu on SE 10th Avenue in the vicinity of the Arthur Street intersection when the accident took place.

The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Malibu failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly lost control and veered to the right, crashing into a traffic signal pole before coming to a stop and catching fire.
