Norfolk, VA — January 17, 2024, Shawn Comparto was killed in a truck accident at approximately 6:30 a.m. along East Virginia Beach Boulevard.
According to authorities, 50-year-old Shawn Comparto was traveling in a car along East Virginia Beach Blvd. approaching the Ingleside Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the vehicle allegedly collided with a flatbed truck which had been at a stop at the intersection. Comparto incurred apparently fatal injuries as a result of the crash. No other injuries have been reported.
