Tyler, TX — February 4, 2024, one child was killed while Sharya Snow and two others were injured in a car accident at about 7:15 p.m. along Hwy. 64.
According to authorities, 18-year-old Sharya Snow was traveling in a westbound Kia Forte along with a 7-year-old and a 12-year-old on Highway 64 in the vicinity west of Tyler when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the Forte entered the path of a Ram pickup truck which resulted in a collision between the two vehicles. The 7-year-old incurred reportedly fatal injuries due to the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. Snow, the 12-year-old, and the driver of the pickup truck sustained injuries of unknown severity and were transported to a local hospital in order to receive necessary treatment.
