1 Injured in Truck Accident on 10th Street in Minneapolis, MN

Minneapolis, MN — October 25, 2023, a worker was injured in a semi-truck accident at 12:25 in the afternoon along 10th Street.

According to reports, a semi-truck was heading east on 10th Street near the Nicollet Mall intersection when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the semi-truck collided with the arm of a boom which was being utilized in a maintenance project on the Minneapolis Skyway System. The collision tore up the roof of the semi’s trailer and caused the collapse of the boom, throwing a worker reportedly in his forties into the intersection which resulted in multiple injuries.

Authorities say that there have been no arrests made; the cause of the accident is still under investigation. There are no further details available at this point in time.
